How To Be Saved

What We Believe
At Ark Life, our beliefs are rooted in the teachings of the Bible and the life of Jesus Christ. We adhere to the following core principles of faith:

1. The Bible We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the ultimate guide for our faith and practice.

2. The Trinity We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, co-equal, and co-eternal.

3. Jesus Christ We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

4. Salvation We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works, but through the shed blood of Jesus, believers are forgiven and born again into eternal life.

5. The Holy Spirit We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells and empowers believers for godly living and service. The Holy Spirit provides spiritual gifts and guidance to all who follow Christ.

6. The Church We believe the Church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus is the head. The Church is composed of all believers who are united through faith in Jesus Christ, called to fellowship, worship, and service.

7. Baptism and Communion We believe in the ordinances of baptism and communion. Baptism by immersion is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. Communion is a remembrance of Christ's sacrifice and a proclamation of His death until He returns.

8. The Second Coming We believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ to earth, to reign in power and glory. This hope motivates us to live holy and godly lives, anticipating the fulfillment of God's promises.

9. The Rapture We believe in a Pre-Tribulational rapture of the Church, where all believers will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air before the onset of the Tribulation period. This blessed hope encourages us to live in readiness for Christ’s imminent return.

10. Eternal Destiny We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved to eternal life and the lost to eternal separation from God.

11. Christian Living We believe that every Christian is called to live a life of holiness and obedience to God's Word, empowered by the Holy Spirit. We are to be witnesses of Christ's love, sharing the gospel with the world.

At Ark Life, we strive to live in anticipation of Jesus' return, preparing our hearts and lives just as Noah prepared for the flood. We invite you to join us in this journey of faith, placing your trust in Jesus, our Ark, and embracing the hope of His promised return.

How to Be Saved by Jesus Christ

Salvation through Jesus Christ is the most important decision you can make in your life. It is the beginning of a personal relationship with God and the assurance of eternal life. Here’s how you can be saved:

1. Recognize Your Need for Salvation The Bible tells us that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Sin separates us from God, and the consequence of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Understanding that we are sinners in need of a Savior is the first step toward salvation.

2. Believe in Jesus Christ Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who came to earth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day. He paid the penalty for our sins so that we could be reconciled to God. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

3. Repent of Your Sins Repentance involves a sincere turning away from sin and turning toward God. It is a change of heart and mind that leads to a change in behavior. Acts 3:19 says, “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.”

4. Confess Jesus as Lord Declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Romans 10:9-10 states, “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

5. Receive Jesus into Your Life Invite Jesus to come into your life and be your Lord and Savior. John 1:12 says, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”

6. Commit to Following Jesus Salvation is the beginning of a lifelong journey of following Jesus. Commit to growing in your faith through prayer, reading the Bible, and connecting with a community of believers. Jesus calls us to be His disciples, living according to His teachings and sharing His love with others.

Prayer of Salvation If you are ready to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can pray a prayer like this:
"Dear God,
I know that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness.
I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose again.
I turn from my sins and invite You into my heart and life.
I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.
Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life.
In Jesus’ name, Amen."

If you have prayed this prayer and accepted Jesus into your life, welcome to the family of God! We encourage you to connect with a local church or a Christian community like Ark Life, where you can grow in your faith and find support on your spiritual journey.
